If so, we’ll proceed with any preliminary treatments, like pulp therapy, that might be required. Then we may need to gently remove a small amount of enamel from the affected tooth so the crown fits properly.

Next, we’ll make impressions and take images of their teeth, which are sent to a special dental laboratory, where a technician uses them to begin designing your child’s restoration. Once it’s delivered to our office, we can contact you to schedule a final fitting for your child. If their crown looks and functions as intended, we’ll carefully cement it in place and polish it to a shine before sending them home with a beautifully repaired tooth.
